Duo Dome Ring, Chunky Gold Statement Ring With Adjustable Band

Two rounded bands meet along the top of the finger in this "dome" design, and the shank adjusts, so one ring covers a wide range of sizes.

The Shape

The double dome is formed from two raised curves running side by side, which gives the ring presence from above and a smooth, uninterrupted line from the side. The band narrows toward the back of the finger so the weight stays reasonable.

Both finishes are polished to a bright shine. Gold over brass carries a warm tone; rhodium over brass reads closer to silver and keeps a cooler look against the skin.

Adjusting It

Work the band open gradually and settle on a size before wearing it for long stretches. Plated metal does not enjoy being bent back and forth, so one careful adjustment is better than several.

Stacking

Worn alone the ring carries a hand on its own. Paired with a slim band underneath it becomes the top layer of a stack, and the high polish keeps the two surfaces visually separate.

Care

Plated finishes last longer when kept dry. Remove the ring before washing hands, swimming, or applying lotion, and wipe it with a soft cloth. Store it apart from harder pieces so the polish stays even.
